Our Adobe courses are perfect for the modern webdesign, fashion design and graphic design needs. Since we use flexible material it is always up-to-date, allowing us to seemlessly integrate it with the developments in this fascinating industry.

Furthermore we strive to prepare the students as efficiently as possible for a job in the world of design. This means we offer intensive coaching, support and training. This education takes 26 weeks to complete: half a year. If you book it as personal training you may change the pace of the course and finish it earlier.

You are going to restore images in professional ways and learn how to create files that are perfect for print. You will also be able to work for many media and you will be able to publish files for print and screen.

Dreanweaver Course

This Dreamweaver course teaches you the basis of files for the internet: HTML. Not only that: you will also learn the code that is used to specify the layout and style for internet pages: CSS. After you master the code we shall move on to Deramweaver and you will learn different techniques to create web pages, links and layouts.

During this Dreamweaver Course Advanced we shall teach you many advanced techniques to not only create websites but to maintain them as well. You are going to use Dreamweaver professionally to manage websites within Dreamweaver and to create more complex layouts.

Webdesign Modules Extra

CSS super module

This CSS module teaches you how to use the so-called stylesheets. You will learn the basics of this beautiful code and then work inside the Dreamweaver environment to implement it.

After this you will move on to CSS level 2 and 3 in which you will learn how to position elements and how to place and manipulate advanced content types.

HTML super module

The basics of all internet pages is, of course, HTML. This code is not only a lot of fun to learn: you will need knowledge of this code to be able to manipulate web pages and to restore mistakes that occur whenever you use a web editor. Even Dreamweaver can make mistakes so you will need to know what to do when things go wrong.

SEO: Search Engine Optimization. During this course you will learn how to make your website end up higher in the search engine results. Techniques in this field are continuously being developed and some techniques that have been used for years are no longer allowed. It is important to know what to do. Webdesigner Master Education

During this webdesigner education you willl learn the basics from scratch: HTML and CSS. These are crucial for later code manipulation. After you master the basics we move on to Dreamweaver. You will learn multiple techniques since each website will need it's own strategy.

As a webdesigner you will usually need Photoshop skills too. You will be expected to be able to optimize images they send to you and to crop or otherwise adjust the images that should be used on the website. This is why this Webdesigner Master Education also integrates a Photoshop Course.

You will also attend a full Flash module. Flash is often used to integrate animated banners and interactive animations. A well-known feature is Flash Video, of course. You need such skills to call yourself a true web designer.

To make this super package complete we finish it with the SEO module: search engine optimization. You will learn techniques that will allow the websites you build to end up high in the search results.

You are going to create interactive animations during this Flash course. The animations can be used for presentations and of course they will also be suitable for use on a web page. The new developments within Flash to create animations for different platforms is rather exciting. The animations can even be used on mobile platforms such as Google Android.

We currently do not have a full InDesign course. Why? Because InDesign is, in fact, quite a simple application. It's basics can be mastered with a few hours of concentrated training. This is why we offer InDesign training on demand, per hour. It means you can learn what you want. Importing files, placing images, adding interactivity or managing fonts: it can all be addressed during this personalized training on demand.

Graphic Designer Education

As a graphic designer you will have to know how to use multiple applications. You will have to know how to use Illustrator to create logo's and creative business cards, for example. And you will use Photoshop to edit photographic material. And last but not least, you will need InDesign to place the these logo's, illustrations and graphics into the layout you need for magazines and papers.

The graphic designer of today needs a full education. This need can be met during our Graphic Designer Education in which the above three applications are combined.

Course intensivity

All our courses offer intensive training. This is because we want our students to find a job after the course. To make this even more realistic we keep track of the changes in the world of design and the software updates. Working with very old software versions is not an option unless a student needs to use it. Keeping track of all the changes is very important to us: it makes it possible to be a player in the dynamic, multi media oriented world of design.

Teachers

During our courses you will have a personal coach who is a professional in the world of design. Experience in the field of print and press makes this coach irreplacable while you study. You can ask your coach all the questions you may have and notice you will most often get the answer. While you attend the course you can send your coach your homework files and extra files in which 'things don't work'.

Duration

The course duration depends on the type of training you attend. Go to the course's page to find out more. The most common type of training is group training and personal training, have a look at the options for these courses.

Estimated homework time

You will need about 8 hours per lesson. Most students spend even more time because they enjoy the work.

Het niveau van de cursus ligt tussen MBO en HBO in. Er wordt van u verwacht dat u thuis zelfstandig kunt werken maar ook goed kunt meekomen in een groep.

Applying

Go to the course's page or this page to apply. We shall send you an application form to fill out and after we receive it back from you we shall send you the invoice for the course.

Location

The courses are taking place in Amsterdam. Our location is very easily accessed by tram, bus, metro and even train. Of course you can use the car as well. All necessary facilities are available on the premises.

Literature and lesson material

LearningTrain keeps track of the developments of Adobe software. Using our Adobe contacts makes this even easier. The literature we consult is always up to date and the lesson material is often hot from the press.

Applications

We have a trial for you so you can do the homework. But of course you can also download the trial from the Adobe website.

During class we usually use the most recent version of the software and the version before that. This makes sure you are aware of the developments in the software and that you can create the best designs for your projects. The design market is pretty competitive, having the correct software gives you an extra edge.

Operating system

The Adobe applications have ben developed for both Windows and Mac and are available for both operating systems. Working with Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash means it's platform independant. While you are studying here you will usually work on a Windows machine. If you are used to working on a Mac you will hardly notice the difference: you will be inside the Adobe environment and this is platform independant.

Extra help

During the courses you can use your coach's knowledge to help you along. You can send in files and of course, homework. Homework is checked: since we choose to correct homework by hand this results in high quality training.

The location

The courses take place in Amsterdam. Our location is easily accessed by car, tram, bus, metro and even train. There is a railway station around the corner.

Software

You can purchase the Adobe software from us, we're an official Adobe and Wacom reseller.

But you can also download a trial though the Adobe website. This trial is valid for a month.
